Many homeowners have received a letter from New York State regarding the Homeowner Tax Rebate for 2022. Per New York State’s Department of Taxation and Finance: “The homeowner tax rebate credit is a one-year program providing direct property tax relief to about 2.5 million eligible homeowners in 2022.”
Please note that this rebate has nothing to do with Einsidler Management, Inc. or STAR. Please reach out to New York State, or refer to the letter you received in the mail for further instructions (if you received one).
No action is needed unless you received this letter from NYS. Per NYS anyone who did not receive a letter is either not eligible or does not need to provide any further information to get the credit.
